Is it possible to legislate moral fiber?

Notaloon asks, “Is it possible to legislate moral fiber?  Can ‘thou shalt not shoot, injure and kill’ successfully be legislated?”

If you say yes, and you try,  Notaloon warns you will be proven wrong.  You will be proven a buffoon.  Worse than that though – people will continue to die by the trigger.   After all, do we not already have laws against killing and murder?

Because morality cannot be legislated or forced,  we must look to the individual and self-determinism.  We must alter an individual’s soil and roots.  A child must be educated and moralized while young, impressionable, and wide open to thought and ideas.    A child must root in soil rich in the Lord, honor, love, logic, knowledge, positivity, and creativity.  Unbridled feelings, indulgences, disrespect, and fear will poison a child’s soil and give power only to evil.

Give the roots sanctified strength.  Only then can the decay be reversed.

What about the individual already hardened,  whose morality was long ago destroyed?  What about him?  His only hope lies in his surroundings – the people, the places, the thoughts, the way of life, the goals.  If he lives among others who are not seeking a higher good, he is likely doomed with corruption, cover-up, crime, incarceration or worse.  If he lives among others who work to rise above, incredible good can be done – more incredible than what those born into true morality might ever experience.

For to turn a person from one wanton to one who bestows goodness  is a mighty deed indeed.  A deed of a leader.  A mover of mountains.  A person mighty in spirit and action.   And a person from whom much good can flow.

Please don’t shoot.  Don’t shoot here.

Legislator, judge, and bureaucrat,  who do you inspire and to what?    Notaloon wants  to know.    I daresay, too many of you possess your own  wanton ways and lack of moral fiber.  You do not inspire, stretch or strengthen for the good, quite the contrary.  You poison a country and a society that you were charged to safeguard and  strengthen.  Your lack of morality with your greed for power and money is abhorrent.  You are no longer incognito.  We have unmasked you and named you.  You are the

and we don’t like you.

[Stage right, enter Donald Trump.]

YOU, dear individual,  what of you?  You who are knowingly or unknowingly entrusted with the future?  DO NOT make the problem worse with legislation.   Legislation only teases us with a fake resolution.   Truth is clearly witnessed  with the ticking of time.   Gun control is no solution, but rather a power grabbing smokescreen, with possible diabolic and destructive outcomes.  Study examples in history of the vulnerability of a populace that is unable to defend itself.

The time had come to launch a decisive blow to the Jewish community, to render it defenseless so that its “ill-gotten” property could be redistributed as an entitlement to the German “Volk.” The German Jews were ordered to surrender all their weapons, and the police had the records on all who had registered them. Even those who gave up their weapons voluntarily were turned over to the Gestapo.*

And YOU.  Don’t let it be too late.  Strengthen the soil with your example, your constitution, your morality, your attention and guidance, your sense of self-responsibility and your leadership.  Let your example be consistent and shine brightly for many to see, and hopefully admire and emulate.  From a soil rich in virtue a virtuous people will spring forth.  A virtuous, an honorable people would not live lawless lives by committing  murder or by electing either criminals or those who are corrupted.

In summary, the pro-gun control position  is the tragic opinion of an idiotass.   “Urban Dictionary: Person/Persons that act so idiotic, adding the suffix (ass) only seems appropriate. “**

For the sake of our society and in the eternal words of Notaloon’s mother, “For God’s sake, straighten up and fly right.”

Notaloon — Straightened and flying right

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.  Matthew 7:15-20
