I went on-line and looked up the definition of logic. The best, most succinct and ‘logical’ definition was found in Collins English Dictionary. Many other sources were woefully inadequate and obtuse in their definition, leaving the door open for ‘illogical’ conclusions.
This is Collins’ definition: Logic is a method of reasoning that involves a series of statements, each of which must be true if the statement before it is true.
How hard is that? Logic brings truth. Logic is truth. No logic, no truth. Homo sapiens often have trouble with this concept, because logical conclusions don’t always jive with the individual’s less logical opinions. Here let me emphasize that ‘opinions’ do not have to contain any element of truth. The human brain, in fact, does not have to entertain logical thought. In some cases, the brain in question may not even be capable of it.
I observed this early on in life. In college, one of my most enjoyable classes was my logic class. I loved it because it made sense and of course, an A was easy for me. However, the vast majority of the class struggled to the point of failure. Some homo sapiens don’t understand even the simplest logical concept but I am sure you will. Let’s just take if A + B = C is a true statement then by necessity B + A must equal C as well. That is truth. C – B = A is also absolutely true and so on. These are all irrefutable unless you are crazy. In this same example we don’t know if B + D equals C. We cannot surmise from the information we have and expect that truth will result. Now if we knew that D = A then it would be logical or truth to state that B + D = C. Done. Absent that information we cannot be certain of truth. But logical thinking isn’t required today, is it? It certainly isn’t a requirement for the Democratic Party. But I stand firm on this:
If A + B = C
and
If A = D
then D + B = C
Many leftists will find some way to argue against the truths above. The extent of their thoughts will be — it is racist to think that everything revolves around “C”. And of course,”C” is really conservative code for CAUCASIAN. The letter “C” is the face of racism and must be mocked, bullied, beaten and outlawed.
This lack of logical thought and its concomitant resulting stupid conclusions are the real dumbing down of America. You know what I am getting at. The statement that ‘the left is illogical’ is indeed a logical statement.
If only a small percentage of the left were illogical, we as a society could deal with them rather easily. The problem, however, is that the left combines their subconscious phobia of logical thought or truth-phobia with the ‘lemming syndrome.’ Where one lemming goes they all go, or so Disney tells us.

In other words, groupthink is pervasive among the left, and in this case Disney was correct. The lemmings are jumping off the cliff. Or if you prefer a more modern reference they are The Borg and they are actively seeking others to assimilate especially from the influx of illegals, both of the immigrant variety as well as the incarcerated variety.
Groupthink without logic is a recipe for disaster. Think lemmings and the cliff. Think WWII and Hitler.
Lest I be accused of being illogical and simply full of refutable opinions, I thought I would pick just a few of the most ‘in your face’ illogical positions of the erring left to mention.
On Death
Let’s talk about death. Here is a known position on the democratic platform: A woman should have the absolute right to choose, even to the time after birth. Here is another known position on the democratic platform: Violent criminals should not be executed. After all, the death penalty is immoral and unjust and often racially biased.
On this little gem, let me say, contradiction is, by its nature, not logical.
On Reparations
We have locked future generations of all races into financial servitude, and yet the left believes that those living today, those who never made the decision to enslave anyone, should pay a financial price for the moral depravity of our ancestors. (My ancestors weren’t even here yet!) They now propose punishment on those not guilty of any crime, and yet those who are committing crimes continue on undeterred, i.e. illegal immigrants and traitors in high places.
At this moment, the U.S. National Debt is over $22 trillion and rising rapidly. We are a generous population, albeit stupid. In 2018 we spent $851.1 billion on welfare programs for all races. (Although I daresay that Asians are not even a blip in the statistics of those receiving assistance.) The Welfare Programs funded include Medicaid, workers’ compensation, unemployment, housing assistance to the tune of $48 billion, and family and children assistance to the tune of $268 billion. Dear Americans, our contributions are not appreciated for the left simply believes we should pay more.
I vote that we send these political elites to South Africa and let Rhamaphosa show them how reparations are really done. They simply steal land and reallocate. This little trip will give them someone new to look up to.
Why shouldn’t abortionists have to pay their own specific reparations to black families whose babies were aborted all the way back to the time of Sanger? Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions at Planned Parenthood are for African Americans.
Our government funds Planned Parenthood. Perhaps Planned Parenthood should pay reparations now and then be de-funded by our government so they don’t have to pay reparations for racist activity again in the future.

On Walls Do Not Work
I ask you, if walls were not effective, why haven’t the Chinese torn theirs down yet?
It is okay to counter illogic with its mirror image, if only for some much needed comic relief. Don’t call me out for being illogical. They started this.
On Trump’s Moral Depravity
They say he lies. They say he colluded. They say he obstructed justice. They say he has been married three times and plays around with and pays off women like Stormy, who I am sure absolutely hated any attention The Donald bestowed on her. They say he is a racist. They say he threatens people. They say he isn’t nice to women. They say they don’t like his style. They don’t like that he tweets. They say he must be a crook because no one can have that much money and not be one. Yet, they say, he is a failed business man, citing the casino bankruptcies. Anything else?
Oh yeah, he’s unstable. In fact, his instability is so concerning, I forgot all about it. I don’t know why I forgot. After all, his instability makes him unable to accomplish anything.
All this from the people who voted for the Uranium One candidate, that bastion of stellar morality, stellar woman brain power, and societal ‘do good-er’ Hillary Rodham Clinton. Seriously? Trump needs to be impeached and Hillary should have been elected? The insanity of it all, the blatant disregard for logical thought, is just overwhelming.
On Voting
They say ‘undocumented’ immigrants, which is a euphemism for ‘illegal’ immigrants, should be allowed to vote because we are a nation of immigrants, or some such similar irrelevant crap. The Russians taking out ads on social media to influence votes is considered election tampering. How is allowing non-citizens the ACTUAL RIGHT to vote, and thus definitely affecting our elections, not election tampering?
The left says voter ID is racist, but IDs are required for boarding planes and boarding ships, getting into elevators in many high rise buildings, buying a beer at the local super market (at least in Pennsylvania) and cigarettes at the local convenience store. It is also necessary for buying a gun, renting or buying a car, checking out a library book, collecting welfare benefits, getting into some government buildings, getting a marriage license, getting hospital care, entering other countries, and checking into a hotel room. BUT to vote in our elections, the left believes no ID should be required, because requiring one is …wait for it….
racist.
And while we are on the subject of voting, if illegal voting is allowed, I demand the equal right to do some illegal voting, too. My first vote would be in Minneapolis, after disembarking from a plane, for which I had to show my ID and be body scanned and groped. I want my first illegal vote to count there, in Minneapolis.
On The Green New Deal
I have had a principle not to acknowledge the conceptual brilliance of this Green New Deal. It really bears the need for absolutely no discussion. But it did soak up some of our legislators’ time clock.
The Green New Deal is an evil fairyland. It is a control-obsessed political elite dreaming about a sick, twisted, not to mention impossible-at-the-present-time leftist hell-topia, not a utopia but a hell-topia. (Oh dear, has the left made it illegal yet for us to play with, change or morph our syllables and words?)
The neurosurgeon who proposed this Green New Deal…well….. I wonder if she even knows how to light a match. But I would prefer no one try to teach her. We don’t know what she would do with it.
On Fiduciary Irresponsibility
There is only one more illogical position of the left that I want to address here. There are so many more, but one more that is a particular peeve of mine. The left spends our dollars irresponsibility. The right can certainly be accused of this as well.
The irony here is that our elected legislators have passed legislation regulating financial services professionals with the intention of protecting the consumer. Our legislators don’t want consumers to be taken advantage of, unless of course, they are the ones taking advantage. They enforce these ‘fiduciary responsibility laws’ with regulations that include fines, penalties, stripping or suspending of licenses, and even jail sentences. Yet they do not hold themselves to any such fiduciary standards even as overseers of an unfathomably large budget.
Furthermore, the left has no conscience about enslaving us and future generations with debt for even frivolous spending and junkets, not to mention funding their racist pursuit of aborting more black babies than would be their fair share. I guess only some babies are entitled to protection from the fiduciary responsibility laws. And make no mistake about it, all of us taxpayers are subjected to the financial irresponsibility of our legislators.
We need legislation to protect us from our legislators. BAM! A NEW ACTIVIST Group has thus been born! Taxpayers for Legislating the Legislators.
In summary, I have touched upon a few of the illogical positions of the left. There are so many more – censorship, gender ‘fluidity,’ gun control, global warming, unfettered immigration, the new world order, the tolerance of sharia law and female genital mutilation, the support of a corrupt leadership, etc. None of these are small issues and are likely to be addressed in future posts.
